Quantity Surveyor sought, North Manchester. Bekk R Solutions are delighted to once again be working alongside a progressive multidisciplinary property contractor seeking further commercial support based out of their Manchester hub with the addition of a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to the team. You will be joining a financially secure business with links to a multidisciplinary, international property consultancy. Ideally, you will be Manchester based, with the ability to cover a number of sites within the region. You will be embedded within a prestigious manufacturing business, overseeing various schemes n site utilising NEC forms of contract (skill set is desirable, so don’t fret the NEC’s too much!)

Day to day,

* A Quantity Surveyor has a number of years’ experience in managing all costs relating to Mechanical & Electrical engineering, you may also have experience in delivering commercial services within a Facilities Management and fabric environment. You will be supporting other more senior members of the commercial team in delivering the varied commercial duties for one or more key clients within the business, as well as being responsible for procuring and managing supply chain. You will actively seek to minimise the costs of a project/s and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality as expected by the business and Customers.

What you’ll need to succeed,

* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management or experience equivalent

* Communication: with clients, internal staff, and the wider supply chain, in a positive manner

* Teamwork (essential)

* Housekeeping: ensure work is accessible to the project team / management, electronically filed and easy to identify

* Achievement Focus (Achieving Results)

* A keen desire to see relevant projects achieved, delivering success for both the business and client
