Are you an experienced planner looking for a new opportunity within a busy manufacturing company?
We have an opening for a Manufacturing Planner working for a large company based in Lye
The manufacturing planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure efficient production, on-time delivery and optimal use of resources. The role requires advanced excel skills and hands-on experience with sage to manage data, forecasts and production plans accurately
Main responsibilities
* Create and maintain production plans and schedules
* Maintain accurate planning and production data within sage, including works orders stock levels and bills of materials
* Liaise with production, procurement and sales teams to align plans with material availability and customer requirements
* Monitor production progress, identify risks and delays and implement corrective actions
* Advanced working on Excel (pivot tables formulas, data analyst) to demand, capacity and performance.
The right candidate
* Would have experience in planning or production planning
* Have advanced working knowledge of Excel
* Ideally have manufacturing sage experience
* Be a strong communicator
* Highly organised with time management experience
* Have working experience in a busy manufacturing company
* Be happy to commuter across 2 sites when needed
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 1pm
