I'm recruiting a Payroll Assistant for a well-established accountancy practice in Glasgow. This is a hands-on role taking ownership of an existing payroll portfolio of around 80 clients (largest payroll circa 40 employees).
If you enjoy end-to-end payroll, client contact, and working in a supportive practice environment, this is well worth a look.

The role
* End-to-end payroll processing (weekly, monthly and some annual)
* Managing a varied client payroll portfolio
* CIS payrolls
* Pension submissions and auto-enrolment
* HMRC reporting and year-end processes
* Sage Payroll and Excel
* Managing payroll inboxes and general admin
* Assisting with VAT returns where required
What I'm looking for
* Proven payroll experience
* Practice experience preferred, but not essential
* Strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with good client skills
