Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Technician to support engineering and maintenance activities within fast-paced Defence company based in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will hold current SC clearance and have a solid background in both mechanical and electrical systems within secure or regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems

Support installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment

Fault-finding and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical assets

Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure technical compliance

Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet MOD/Defence standards

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with H&S and security protocols

Essential Requirements:

Current and active SC Clearance

Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical systems

Recognised qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering)

Experience working in Defence, MOD, or secure environments

Strong understanding of H&S and compliance requirements

Desirable:

18th Edition or equivalent electrical qualification

Experience with military systems or infrastructure
