Experienced Marketing Manager required for a successful and established specialist design led manufacturing business based in Oldham, the company manufactures a range of bespoke niche products into retails spaces, they are a people focussed Investors in People Platinum Award organisation, proving a commitment to supporting their staff in becoming the very best that they can be.
The Marketing Manager is a generalist role with end-to-end ownership of the marketing function. The role sets the strategic direction for marketing, while also staying hands-on with execution. We would love for a more creative person in this marketing role. It would also be a bonus for an account manager to have manufacturing, retail or design background rather than hard sales skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading marketing strategy across brand, digital, content and demand generation
* Managing and directing external agencies and freelancers
* Acting as the brand guardian across all external/internal communications
* Anything publicly visible (website, content, campaigns, outreach or messaging) sits within this remit.
The role owns the website and all content assets, working closely with developers and technical partners, and works closely with SEO partners to execute some activity, including writing SEO-optimised content. The role is closely linked with the sales team to deliver targeted B2B outreach and prospect nurturing to support new business.
The Marketing Manager is the owner of the CRM, responsible for aligning sales and marketing activity, overseeing data and workflows and reporting monthly performance and insights back to the senior leadership team. Budget management, prioritisation and ROI tracking also sit within the role.
In short, this is a strategic, commercially minded marketing role that combines leadership, partner management and hands-on delivery, ideal for a confident generalist who can set direction, champion the brand and execute when required.
You will inherit established brand guidelines, a brand new, optimised website, functioning CRM, reporting structure and active marketing channels, with scope to develop them over time.

Based in the office 4 days with 1 day working from home, the working hours are 37.5 per week , with flexi time worked as follow
Start from 8am – 9.15am
Finish from 4pm – 5.15pm
Full hours need to be complete each day and Friday is the same.
