Are you an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role?
Our partner Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South Manchester is seeking a confident, resilient and empathetic practitioner to join their dedicated team this January.
💼 The Role
Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Working 1:1 and in small groups to help children re-engage with learning
Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour using restorative approaches
Working alongside teachers, pastoral staff and external agencies
Helping to create a safe, nurturing and consistent learning environment
⭐ About You
Previous SEMH / PRU / behaviour support experience essential
Calm, patient and able to build positive relationships
Confident using behaviour management strategies
Able to work collaboratively as part of a specialist team
Committed to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people
