Summary:
To efficiently plan deliveries to retail outlets across UK and Ireland utilising all mediums of transport (Parcels - Van's - HGV Fleet), own fleet, parcel carriers, pallet carriers, and 3PL.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage deliveries across own fleet, 3PL, parcel, pallet, and offshore operations.
Produce daily transport plans to support warehouse operations.
Manage a £3m annual transport budget, ensuring cost-effective and compliant delivery.
Optimise routes, driver hours, and resources in line with legal and safety requirements.
Monitor OTIF, cost-to-serve, and KPIs, recommending improvements.
Provide performance reporting and support continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
3+ years' transport planning experience within FMCG.
Strong UK road network knowledge.
Experience with PTV or Paragon.
Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
