We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operative to join our pallet operation. This is a 100% forklift role with no manual handling, focused entirely on the loading and unloading of double-deck trailers in a fast-paced yard and warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently at all times
*
Load and unload double-deck articulated trailers with stacked pallets
*
Ensure pallets are handled, stacked, and positioned correctly to prevent damage
*
Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance
*
Carry out daily forklift checks and report any defects
*
Follow site procedures and loading plans accurately
*
Work efficiently to meet daily throughput and productivity targets
*
Communicate effectively with transport and yard staff
Requirements
*
Valid counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB / ITSSAR / AITT or equivalent)
*
Proven experience loading and unloading double-deck trailers
*
Confident handling pallets at height and in tight trailer spaces
*
Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
*
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*
Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume pallet environment
Hours of work:
Night shift from - Monday to Friday - 8.5 hour shifts
This company does do staggered start times so are flexible. Start times between 6pm - 10pm
Pay: £15ph with weekly pay
