Responsibilities:
* Service and commission fire alarm systems in accordance with client specifications whilst ensuring compliance with BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety regulations
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
* Conduct site surveys and quote for additional works.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
* Attend customer sites as part of an on call rota, responding to emergency and reactive call outs as required
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer in a servicing and commissioning role.
* Knowledge of fire alarm systems including addressable, conventional, gas suppression and aspirating systems, in particular Gent, Kentec, Advanced, Morley etc.
* Ability to identify and satisfy customer needs and commercial opportunities
* Good communication skills coupled with customer service skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
