Forklift Driver

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The role involves operating a range of forklift equipment—PPT, VNA, counterbalance, and/or reach trucks—to support the movement, storage, and handling of furniture products. As our warehouse deals with large and heavy items, elements of manual heavy lifting will be required.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate PPT, VNA, counterbalance, or reach forklifts to move, load, and unload stock.

Pick, pack, and put away furniture items according to warehouse procedures.
*
Assist with manual handling tasks, including lifting and positioning heavy products when necessary.
*
Conduct daily equipment checks and report any defects or safety concerns.
*
Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including safe handling procedures for heavy goods.
*
Maintain accurate stock movements using scanners or warehouse management systems.
*
Keep work areas clean, organised, and free of hazards.
*
Support general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
*
Valid forklift licence for one or more of the following: PPT, VNA, counterbalance, reach.
*
Previous warehouse or forklift operating experience (preferred).
*
Ability to safely lift and move heavy items as part of daily duties.
*
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
*
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
*
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
