Location: Slough | Start: ASAP | Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week

About the Role:

Science Technicians play a vital role within schools, supporting teachers and students by preparing experiments, managing equipment, and maintaining safe laboratory environments. Working as a Science Technician allows you to combine your interest in science with strong organisational skills while contributing to the education of future scientists.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare, set up, and clear away materials and equipment for science lessons and experiments

Support science teachers during practical lessons and demonstrations

Maintain laboratory safety standards and equipment in line with health and safety regulations

Manage stock levels and order laboratory supplies when required

Assist individual pupils or small groups during practical work

Support the smooth day-to-day running of the science department through technical and administrative tasks

A degree (science-related preferred but not essential)
