We are recruiting for an Income Officer to join our client's Customer Accounts team in Bristol. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a blend of home, office and customer-based work.

The Role

As an Income Officer, you will support customers to manage their accounts, prevent arrears and arrange sustainable repayment plans. You'll work proactively to identify issues early, liaise with internal teams and external agencies, and ensure customers receive the right advice and support.
The role includes regular customer visits, preparing documentation, and occasionally attending court hearings.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

Strong communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of welfare benefits, arrears management and debt recovery
Excellent IT skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload
Strong organisational and time management skills
A full driving licence and access to a car
Willingness to undertake a DBS check
