A leading construction contractor in Bristol is looking to appoint a Managing Quantity Surveyor to support continued growth across a strong pipeline of building and refurbishment projects. The Role – Managing Quantity Surveyor
As the Managing QS, you will take ownership of commercial delivery across multiple local projects while leading and developing a small team of Quantity Surveyors. Responsibilities include:

Managing cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting
*
Overseeing procurement, subcontract management and contract administration
*
Leading commercial strategy across building and refurbishment schemes
*
Mentoring and supporting QS team members
*
Ensuring projects are delivered to budget, quality and programme targets
This position is ideal for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a leadership role, or an existing Managing Quantity Surveyor seeking a new challenge with a progressive contractor.
About You

Strong background in construction or refurbishment projects
*
Proven experience as a Senior QS or Managing QS
*
Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
*
Ability to manage multiple schemes and lead a small commercial team
*
Confident communicator with a proactive approach
