Role Overview:
We're recruiting a skilled Repair Technician for our client's team. In this role, you'll handle the repair and rework of electronic products, including SMT & through-hole work and PCB track repairs. You'll also support Production and Quality teams to make sure every product meets high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair, rework, and test returned or complex products.
Assist production with assembly when needed.
Work with Quality on CAPA and root cause investigations.
Read and interpret complex drawings, PCB Gerber files, and technical instructions.Requirements:
Subject Matter Expert in IPC-A-610 & IPC J-STD-001 (or equivalent).
Skilled in electronic rework and PCB track repair.
Experience with IPC-7711/7721 is desirable.
Knowledge of continuous improvement processes is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Skills & Attributes:
Confident with Microsoft Office, 3D CAD tools, and Gerber viewers.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to work independently and under pressure.
