Senior Pre-Construction Manager

Central London | Specialist High-End Fit-Out Contractor

We are working with a well-established specialist high-end fit-out and interiors contractor delivering luxury natural stone, bespoke interiors, and premium architectural finishes across some of London’s most prestigious commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.

The business has built a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise, and long-term client relationships, with in-house capability spanning design, procurement, and installation. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to take full ownership of the pre-construction function and play a key role in shaping the business going forward.

The Role

As Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full pre-construction lifecycle from bid win through to site handover, ensuring projects are commercially robust, technically coordinated, and ready for successful delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the full pre-construction process and managing handover to delivery teams

Overseeing and developing the design coordination and documentation function

Aligning scope, cost, programme, and risk prior to construction

Managing specialist subcontractors and key supply chain partners

Driving improvements in systems, processes, and pre-construction strategy

Protecting margin and ensuring commercial and contractual robustness

Acting as a senior point of contact with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience within high-end fit-out or specialist interiors

Strong technical, commercial, and procurement background

Proven experience working with premium finishes (stone, bespoke joinery, specialist interiors, architectural finishes)

Confident leader, comfortable influencing clients and consultants

Hands-on, practical, and delivery focused

Able to take ownership and drive continuous improvement

Salary & Package

Up to £100,000+ basic salary, dependent on experience and seniority

Package and benefits to be agreed based on the individual
