We are recruiting an HGV Service Advisor to join our client, a well-established and busy commercial vehicle dealership.
This is a key front-line role, acting as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring vehicles progress smoothly through the service process.
HGV Service Advisor – The Role
*
Booking vehicles into the workshop and MOT schedule
*
Acting as the main customer contact (phone & face-to-face)
*
Preparing jobs accurately and managing work in progress
*
Gaining authorisation and upselling additional work where appropriate
*
Providing regular updates to customers on vehicle status
*
Raising invoices and ensuring accuracy on completed work
*
Supporting workshop utilisation and efficiency
HGV Service Advisor – Requirements
*
Experience in an automotive or commercial vehicle environment (HGV preferred)
*
Strong customer service and communication skills
*
Organised with excellent attention to detail
*
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*
Confident handling authorisations, invoicing and workshop coordination
