Supported Living Manager, Stockport, Cheshire. Learning Disabilities, Autism, Complex Care.

My client is a well established, not-for-profit care provider looking for a manager to oversee their Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in the Stockport area.

You will oversee a small number of properties where adults with complex needs including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities are supported to live as independently as possible.

You will have experience of working with adults with complex care needs, this could be from supported living or residential care settings. You will have good knowledge of care standards (in line with CQC) and know how to ensure your teams are delivering high quality person-centred care. You will have experience of quality & compliance management, including audits and rectifying any areas which need improvement. You must be confident managing a team, with experience of recruitment, managing performance, ensuring staff well-being is maintained, and importantly will be able to manage staff rotas across the properties, all of which are in the Stockport area.

As well as leading the teams (which includes Team Managers in the separate services) you will also oversee other aspects such as medication audits, ensuring policies are being followed and much more.

You will be supported by a passionate and approachable senior management team who are knowledgeable, available and involved in all of the services across the area.

The organisation has built an excellent reputation for being highly creative, with some unique services across the region which are making a huge difference to the vulnerable people they support, and their families. The internal structure allows for plenty of opportunities for you to progress, especially as they are also in the process of launching new services and further growth throughout this year.

This position does NOT require you to take on a CQC registration.

In line with our Diversity and Inclusion policy all applicants meeting the minimum criteria for the role will receive consideration without regard to age, gender or gender expression, disability, race or ethnicity, religion or belief or sexual orientation. We are happy to consider any reasonable adjustments that candidates may need during the recruitment process and you will be asked whether you require any during your
