On call rota – Approx 3 – 4 weeks per year and 1 day over Christmas period.

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.
We are currently recruiting for a Electrician to join their team.
The main purpose of this Electrician role is to carry out installation, maintenance, inspection, testing and fault finding on electrical systems with commercial and industrial environments.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £47,500 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 50 hours per week, on call rota - approx 3- 4 weeks per year and 1 day over Christmas.
Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
Carry out electrical inspection, testing, and certification in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
Complete Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC), Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), and Minor Works Certificates
Perform fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical distribution systems, control panels, and machinery
Liaise with site managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate works
The ideal candidate:
City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)
Must hold a Gold Card
City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
Up-to-date BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
Full UK driving licence (Essential)
ECS or CSCS card (Essential)
Proven experience working in commercial and/or industrial environments
Strong understanding of three-phase systems, containment, and distribution boards
Competent in testing, inspection, and certification
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
