Hours: Full‑time (timetable, planning, marking, form tutor duties)
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Subject: Design & Technology (including planning, teaching, assessment across KS3 & KS4)
Responsibilities:
*
Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in Design & Technology for KS3 & KS4
*
Take full responsibility for marking, feedback and student progress
*
Contribute to curriculum development in the DT department
*
Manage behaviour, monitor attendance and support student development
*
Carry out form tutor duties / pastoral responsibilities as require
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Recent secondary teaching experience in Design & Technology across KS3 & KS4
*
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
*
Passion for fostering students’ creativity, technical understanding and design skills
*
Ability to work in a supportive department / school leadership environment
