kolt recruitment are looking for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a well-established accident repair centre based in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys varied work, a busy workshop environment and the chance to support high-quality body and mechanical repairs.
The repair centre handles a wide range of vehicles from insurance, retail and fleet customers, offering long-term stability and a strong flow of work. They are now seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out mechanical repairs, diagnostics and inspections on a variety of vehicles

* Support the bodyshop with mechanical strip, fit and reassembly where required

* Complete suspension, brake, steering, engine and electrical repair work to manufacturer standards

* Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic equipment

* Work efficiently to achieve workshop productivity targets

* Maintain accurate job records and follow all workshop processes

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic within a bodyshop or workshop environment

* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostic procedures

* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

* High attention to detail with a quality-driven approach

* Full UK driving licence
