Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our client in the Defence Sector, who is seeking a Senior IT Category Manager for an initial 12-month assignment with an option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working - Reading
The ideal candidate will hold an active security clearance and strong experience in IT Category Management, with the following skills and qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in IT Category Management within the Defence sector.
Proficient in end-to-end IT procurement and pre-procurement processes.
Experienced in running the Procurement Act 2023 Open Frameworks.
Familiar with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, and Contract Management.
Possesses strong commercial acumen in supplier negotiation, cost management, and stakeholder management.
