Our client, a respected independent pharmacy, is seeking a passionate and experienced Superintendent Pharmacist to take the reins of their well-established branch.
This is a standout opportunity to step into a senior, autonomous role where your clinical expertise and leadership will directly shape patient care and service delivery. This is a full time, permanent position located in Bonnyrigg.

Ideal Requirements for a Superintendent Pharmacist
* GPhC-registered Pharmacist eligible to be named as Superintendent.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmacy leadership or management.
* A patient-focused mindset with clinical and business acumen.
* Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification preferred – but support available for the right candidate.
Role Responsibilities for a Superintendent Pharmacist
* Full legal and professional responsibility for the pharmacy’s operation in line with GPhC standards, NHS regulations, and all relevant legislation.
* Manage day-to-day operations, including prescription services, controlled drugs, SOPs, stock control, and supplier coordination.
* Introduce private services such as vaccinations and clinical services.
* Ensure the pharmacy is a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and university placement students.
