Are you caring, patient and passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs?
Our outstanding SEN school in Altrincham is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, working with pupils who have complex learning, communication and sensory needs.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils aged 11-19 with a range of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
Work closely with class teachers and therapists to deliver engaging, inclusive learning experiences.
Provide personal care and support where required, always promoting dignity, independence and well-being.
Help create a safe, positive and nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential.
Is patient, empathetic and resilient, with excellent teamwork skills.
Ideally has experience working in an SEN or care setting (though full training will be provided).
Is reliable, flexible and willing to learn new approaches to support our pupils effectively.
