Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Swinton supporting pupils in Key Stage 1. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education to work closely with the class teacher, providing tailored support and helping children achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the KS1 curriculum.
Deliver small group interventions and provide 1:1 support where needed.
Assist with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy activities.
Promote independence, positive behaviour, and engagement in learning.
Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider support team.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable).
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development.
