AI Research Engineer job in London – Hybrid - Circa £60k to £120k

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a world-leading investment finance company based in London who are now seeking for an AI Research Engineer with a good experience with either Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf.

The ideal AI Research Engineer would be a graduate from a top-ranking university, studied up to Master's Level, related to Computer Science or Engineering ideally. The ideal candidate would be a hands-on AI enthuasiast, with experience in Python and Data Manipulation.

Key Skills :

* A Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.

* Strong communication skills, ability to present to non-technical stakeholders.

* Commercial experience in Python and data manipulation.

* AI coding ecosystem experience using either Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf preferred.

* Can show a portfolio of personal, academic, or open-source projects that can demonstrates creativity
