D365 F&O Business Analyst

We’re partnering with a leading professional services organisation embarking on a major Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation. They’re looking for an experienced contract D365 Business Analyst to join the team and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of this programme.
You’ll be working at the heart of the project, collaborating with stakeholders, defining business requirements, and helping to deliver a best-practice F&O solution that drives real business impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Engaging with business stakeholders to capture, analyse, and translate requirements into clear deliverables.
*
Leading workshops to map current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes across Finance and Operations.
*
Supporting solution design and ensuring alignment with D365 F&O best practices.
*
Creating and maintaining high-quality documentation including user stories, functional specs, and process maps.
*
Working closely with technical teams on data migration, integrations, and reporting requirements.
*
Supporting test planning, execution, and defect management throughout project phases.
*
Providing input to change management and user adoption initiatives.
*
Acting as the critical link between the business and technical delivery teams to ensure project success.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven experience as a Business Analyst on multiple D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation programmes.
*
Deep understanding of Finance processes within D365 F&O is desirable.
*
Background in professional services or other complex, project-based environments is highly advantageous.
*
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills - confident facilitating workshops and managing senior relationships.
*
Strong documentation and analysis skills - requirements, user stories, process mapping, etc.
*
Experience with integrations, data migration, and system dependencies in D365 F&O.
*
Proactive, detail-driven, and delivery-focused with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
Contract: Outside IR35
Location: Fully Remote
