We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team. If you have an eye for detail, love numbers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Process, review, and verify a high volume of invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of AP transactions, including weekly check/ACH payment runs.
Assist with month-end close activities and provide support during audits.
Maintain and organize financial documentation in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Review and enter vendor information and expenses into the ERP system.
Support the preparation of reports, journal entries, and reconciliations for the Finance Director.
Respond to internal and external queries related to accounts payable promptly and professionally.
Ensure W-9 documentation and 1099 compliance with current tax regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Payroll, and Audit.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounts payable or finance role.
Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and ERP/accounting software.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
